Not intentionally to change the subject, but how do you like that JVC head unit? I have been eyeing that one up for a little bit but I haven't came across anybody who has one. Reviews seem alright on them but I would rather hear it from an actual user of the product. Thanks!

 

no compliants... it does everything i want.. good bass treble and mid eq's.. ipod controls are good. reads my i phone and i can talk on the phone via the aux input and hear the call through the truck.. and the light selection matches perfect

this has been in my last 2 trucks.. no real reason to upgrade yet... i say go for it and the price is great

 

Was it plug and play with the harness? I still have Onstar active so I still need that to be hooked up. Normally I would just start cutting and splicing but I would rather not do that with my truck...

 

well there is a pac adapter u have to get then it will be plug and play.. i got the chime adapter too and a word of wisdom.. let the chime noise die.. dont bother hooking this part of the pac adapter up.. its very irritating.. ull lose the open door chime and most important the seatbelt chime and the random hey the truck is on chime.. lol i wear the seatblet like 90% of the time.. but that noise really is god awful
