Default Sway bars removed?

Do you guys remove your sway bars when you go off roading? I read this on a different site but looking for some confirmation. I understand the benefits to removing them while climbing but does it have many negatives as a daily driver?

We wheel more than the average and I have never disconnected or removed the sway bars. The little bit you may gain in the front is not worth the effort in my opinion and the rear leafs flex like crazy to the point of stretching the ABS lines. There are more items to address if you are going to remove them than just the sway bars.

What Tainter said.

I'd be a bunch more focused on the off road essentials, like Tires, rock rails, UCP, U Bolt Skidz......... etc.

We haven't had the front swaybar installed for the past 20,000 miles but will always keep the rear installed. I drive about 600 miles a week mostly highway and pull a snowmobile trailer in the winter. I've had two emergency evasive maneuvers since removing and no issue. For us the gain in ride comfort and offroad performance outweighed figuring out disconnects.

So remove the front sway bar and leave the rear? I will be installing the under carriage cage, rear diff protection and shock mount plates soon. I have already lifted 3 inches with torsion bar keys and shackle extensions, goodyear 33's, skyjacker h7000 shocks. I got carried away with all the cosmetic fun stuff first. Haha. I just installed my brushguard and 9000 lb winch today. Almost ready to go pull some jeeps out of a few mud holes.

You have to use a third party hosting service like Photobucket.

If you would have come hear first, we would have suggested you not waste your $$ in T Bar keys, the stock keys can do all the lifting a stock H3 can handle.

Beer money down the tubes... alas.
