Default suspension noises?

it is coming from the rear. at times when i break and the rear goes over a bump it sounds like a drum is being hit. a sound you would hear if a band member hit the drum. that sound. i have jumped up and down on the rear and the suspension makes noises like it hasnt any kinda travel. very squeaky! any way i can lubricate the bottom or grease it? the noise sounds like a 1989 hummer that hasnt been taken anywhere, not an 03

there aren't any lube points in the rear. could be worn bolts on the trailing arms, or pretty much any part that is supposed to move. wd-40 the crap out of any part that looks like it should move or has a rubber washer. if that stops it, then use a good silicone spray, it's better on the rubber. only other option is taking it to the dealer, which can be costly.

lube points in the front are upper A-Arm, above the brake rotor, where the tie rod end meets the main steering bar, idler arm and pitman arm. you'll need to take the skid plate off to reach the idler and pitman arms points, and an angle fitting on the grease gun is a big help.

Exactly how many lube points are there on an H2? I can only find 10. Are there more?

You do NOT need to remove the skid plate to lube the center link, if you turn your wheels one way and then the other. You also do NOT need a swivel joint, as long as you have a flexible grease hose. In fact, my swivel joint will not fit onto the lower a-arm zerk, as it is too fat. The straight one is thinner and works well for this location.
