Suspension Lean?
Just bought a used 2007 H3 Lux and loving it. While at the local garage for a state inspection sticker I notice that my Hummer slants to the left (drivers side). I borrowed a tape and found that the top of the wheel well was 1.5" lower on the drivers side. The wrench pulled the tire of the rear to see if there was damage from a wreck (carfax was clean) He found nothing. Is this normal? The wrench tells me that the s10 is built to lean to the driver's side. Has anyone else noticed this or do I have some suspension worries ahead of me ?
Lots of them come new from the factory that way either from settling or from being strapped down. The fix is easy to crank the torsion bar up on the side that is low until it is even and then get an alignment
My 08 H3 Alpha had the same proablem.Had it fixed yesterday at the dealer, and all is even steven now. With this post I will include a computer readout, before and after they fixed the lean..
