A) You may want an Alpha

B) You may want one of these on your Alpha

C) It's not a hair dryer.

Yea that's nice, but if i had an alpha i wouldn't need one of them i don't think. I am just gonna go for a little bit more na power. Don't need anything big or too pricey. Possibly a better idea to get the alpha motor out of a wrecked one that is still good. I found a couple online for under 2 grand. That is cheaper than putting a supercharger on. But i would still burn more gas. Hard choice i guess. I will prob run all stock accept brakes and shocks and headlights till i need a new motor then upgrade it then and have fewer miles giving the value back above where it is now. The interior and body are mint so it should last a.while.
Bought it with 159000 km for 12500 and have put a bit more into it and need some more. Dealers only wanted to give me 8500 for it and it was appraised for 18000 six months ago before i put money into it. They are awful thieves.
Anyway sorry to rant.

If it is a 2008 or newer the V8 will fit fine. A whole lot of other items will need to be swapped out to make it run.

Ok, i didn't know that it couldn't fit. I know alot would have to be swapped out, but thought it woulda been an option. Guess the i5 would have to be swapped out for another one, not enough room for a v6 from something else either is there?

Not to mention there is now way in hell that a motor swap would be cheaper then installing a supercharger.

Ok, just figured id see before i ever had to. You can get some motors used and they are between 1300 and 2200 there is a 3.5 for 2000 with 4k on it and a 3.7 with 23k for 2200. I heard something like three or four grand for a supercharger?

If you reallywant a V8. This company will put one in for ya! For a base of about $18K you will get a 6.0L and a 2wheel/4x4 t-case. Better mileage and tons-o-power. But it's $18K!
