Default Starter or ignition switch?

Everything has been fine with my Alpha until last night. Went to start the car and all lights and indicators came on when I turned the key but no starter. I tried several times and could hear a slight noise and then on the 5th try it started.

I am guessing it is the starter but I am not familiar with the symptoms of a bad ignition switch. Thoughts? How hard is the starter replacements?

Um probably starter but maybe check battery first as sometimes there is still juice for lights and such but won't have enough to kick the starter.
