Thanks for all of your opinions!! Perhaps the EPA guides on the window sticker were reversed.Oh well, it's still better than the Expedition I traded in for the HUMMER & a whole lot more fun to drive!!

IMHO the optimal efficiency speed seems to be somewhere between 50 and 60 mph. Once you just run along faster say 70-75 mphw/ the cruise set, your mileage goes down. I'm getting around 16.5+ mpg combined as well?? Never tried tofigured out strictlyhwy speed mpgs.

First all highway trip with mine was in July. 75 mph, A/C on full and got 17.5 mpg. Since then I added a K&N and 5W30 full synthetic. I'm getting about 16 mpg on the highway. My city went from 13.5 when I first got it to about 11-12 mpg. I only have 2600 miles on it, so I'm hopeing it will get betterin a few years.
