i've had both the I5 and Alpha. the I5 is plenty. the V8 is just icing on the cake.

I would say getting mud flaps is not an option. Without them dirt and salt gets thrown all over the side and I didn't even have mine a month and there was a couple nicks in the rear fenders from rocks off the road. The flaps help stop that. Or you could get a whole fender flare http://www.teakatoys.com/product_p/eg-5355-2500-06.htm you can also get them at G-Style in your body color, the trim color run a little higher at G-Style.

 

thanks guys. love blackbears winch mount already have a winch. not my first offroader selling the CJ7 but putting the winch on the h3 when i get it. i can build it if I get measurements.

 

Every time I drive the I5 I wish for a V8

Why? It's a lot nicer of a sound when you add things like an intake and an exhaust... Can't get my I5 to stop sounding like a rice burner

 

Have no complaints about my I5. Has enough to do whatever, V8 would be nice, but not needed. IMO
