and so I wept...........

RE: and so I wept...........
Two different articles from two different days, with the second one containing the "expanded" information.
Personaly....I'm hoping for a retraction from the WSJ with an apology for reporting bogus news. (Wishful thinking)
However, I can't see them reporting on something like that without having confirmed their sources.
Like Brian said....give it some time and see if the other main stream media picks up on it.
Right now, it is just the WSJ reporting.

There was another forum that had another article that seemed to paint the story in a different light. Made it sound like WSJ might have been fed some overly dire information by a supplier. Said supplier said that they were told to cut back on 09 parts. GM guy said development on all future models was continuing at this point, the H3T was coming out and no decision had been made. Hope that is true and that I wasn't reading optimism into the story that wasn't there.

Are they crazy? Hummers are selling like hotcakes even overseas, why would they not continue to devlop the brand. Also, if your looking for a buyer to purchase the brand you should make it as attractive as can be in order to get a fair price for it.
If they come out with the H4, I'm buying it as long as it is an off road vehicle.

hmm, interesting point. it sure has brought A LOT of attention to the brand and maybe inspired some people who couldnt decide whether or not to buy a hummer, buy one. to help keep the brand alive
