That´s the problem, the night before I crossed it, just 1" of mud. Next morning, happens all time around here... Lucky there was a "4 leg drive" donkey that pulled me back.

An X5 is 4 wd or awd and it is as much of a mud hog as a H2 or H3. If it had some tires on it with grip it would have gone through that puddle. The guy is only up to his ankles in the water.

You are right. If I had some grip tires, I think I could get out without problem. So I bought the H1 and happens no more Je, Je... Just the pic to see how conditions around here change in some hours. Where there was some little puddle in some hours you get a cavern under that. I saw once a guy crossing with an enduro bike something like that, and had to get out swimming with the helmet on. LOL....

true, but the x5 has far less ground clearance and smaller tires...but it might be a bit lighter.

Antonio,
You said you crossed that area with the water 2" below the air intake. What did you do whith the interior once you got home? The water would have been in your lap.
