Default Small leak HVAC Assembly

Heater Core Leaking very little. The black sponge ring was wet. No antifreeze was on the floor. Is this common? I recently had my radiator replaced by a local mechanic not sure if that could have caused this. Do you think the heater core needs to be replaced?

After Investigating more i see where its coming from.

Heater core? That's an HVAC case drain seal. Make sure your hvac drain tube is clear draining condensation. Btw, if your heater core leaks, coolant will be on the ground, thanks to the drain tube.
Pics showing with the firewall and without:

You added pics of the a/c lines to the expansion block on the outside of the firewall. If you see green it's tracer dye for leaks, if you see the green inside the cabin, the hvac case seals need attention.

I am finding this tracer dye on the expansion block and drain. 5 years ago or so I had my ac system checked because the ac was not as cold as it should. I'm wondering if this is from 5 years ago. Is this a big job to do? If i don't repair this what are the cons?

From what little I can see, you do not have a leak. The green is AC dye. The water is because your HVAC drain may be goobered up with crud and not draining properly.

Good luck.

I just saw a video of someone replaceing an expansion valve and when they removed it, it has the same dye in there. Im wondering if my valve is leaking?

You can check pressures with an a/c manifold gauge set, or simply turn the a/c on and check compressor operation. Look at it, hear it, check vent temp, or watch rpm fluctuation. Does the clutch engage? Yes, you have refrigerant, No, you have a leak!
