After posting some off-roading Pics, I got a few questions regarding the skid plate installed in my H3. Here are some more pictures of it ( I hope they make sense to you).
It's made of Aircraft quality Aluminum and the idea behid the NET shape of this skid plate is to have access to sevral parts of the truck, and also to allow air flow to the Gear and transfer case (I think)

Haim: thanks for the pics.That belly plate is very interesting. Heavy guage aluminum, rolled sides, looks substantial, but helps keep the weight down. You say these are made in Isreal. Is it an aftermarket part, or does the dealer there sell and install them? How much would one of these cost approximately? Keep the rubber side down!

It's an after market part. In fact the entire underbody shields are after market, except for the front one with the H3 logo.
The cost of the front + the NET shaped one + thegas tankshield are about 1,400 $.
I've added a few more picture of these 3 parts from my local dealer web site, These pictures are better then the one I posted.

I totaly agree that 1400$ is brutal, But as I said once before, the H3 is priced here at 90,000$.
So after paying 90K$, the sum of 1.4K$ seems almost like nothing.
However, I think you can concider he aluminum option over the thick steel (the weight will be much lower). I guess the prices will be aroung 300$ in the USA also.
