playboy radio? Remind me to wear gloves if I ever drive your truck[:'(]

Here is the link to the "HOW TO" https://www.hummerforums.com/m_69805/tm.htm

The only thing I did different than what's in this link, is thatImounted my tuner on the floor just forward of the shift quadrant. When you pull the radio surroundpanel off and unplug all the connectors look down. There is a hole that goes back toward the shifter. Thats where I put the Sirius tuner. I installed it there with Supper Velcro, and foam padding.....It's not going anywhere.

You know, everyone has their idea of what sounds good to them. I must say that with XM there are very few dead zones, and when you change channels it changes and plays right then and there.

Sirius is a little slower to tune and drops out under overpasses, however when it does playI think it sounds a lotbetter.

I really likethe Sirius programing better like 1st wave 22 with Richard Blade...It's all the'80's stuff I use to listen to back then when I was in college andI lived in L.A. and listened to KROQ....I know...I'm an old bastard......LOL

XM's "FRED" just didn't do it for me....

Sirius hasa great classicstation, and the comedy stuff is awesome....

I've had both XM & Sirius now, and I can say for me, I like Sirius better.....XM is ok.....It's just not what I'm looking for in SATradio...

I think the merger will be good except according to the merger site to get A la cart music you will need a new tuner that's not on the market yet....Great!

Also according to some of the stuff I've read elsewhere, it seams that it might not be possible to do the "Sirius Connect" system on a late2007 and up H3's yet. If you have a LAN factory system,it says on the boxthat"Connect" isnot compatable...?

However, I thinksome guys on this forum that have tried it and it worked....Right?

OK...This is getting long, andI just got home fromwatching the Blue Angles fly out here in Texas at an air show ..[sm=americanasmiley.gif]..(ALWAYS AWESOME STUFF)

So I'm going to go make a Vodka / Tonic and sit out by the pool for awhile.

Y'all have a good night....

Later

Actually, it's all done. I picked it up from my favorite audio shop a couple of hours ago. Windows tinted, Sirius activated and OnStar activate.

It would be cool to have either XM or Sirius, but it doesn't reach to Guam. [:@]

I love my XM. I only listen to about 3 staions though because they play great music and theres no point to change. What's so different about Sirius?

From the sports side, there are more sports on Sirius vs. XM, and I'm more of a football / college hoops guy Sirius seemed right for me. Hopefully the merger will go through and it won't matter
