I'm pretty sure the passenger seat heater doesn't come on unless someone is sitting on it. Anyone else?

 

Page 1-4 of the 2006 Owner's Manual states:

The ignition must be on for the heated seat feature to work. The passenger’s safety belt must be engaged for the heated seat feature to work on the passenger’s seat.

interesting.... how different is the 3 from the 2.... mine goes out everytime the ignition is off.... and doesn't come back on until it is pressed again... I don't know about the passenger seatbelt or the rear seats...
