road trip mpg

Default road trip mpg

bought it in milwaukee and drove it home to saint louis. 6 hr drive and had the cruise at 70. 19.89mpg. pretty excited

Ah those were the days....
I was getting alittle better than that when my rig was stock, I think I topped out at 21.8 almost 22mpg going grannie style on the highway!

Than I added a Boulder Accessories bumper...
Than I added 315/75/16 Terra Grapplers
Than I added Bilstein Cognitos and Bump Stops and raised the front end...

I think Im getting around 12.5mpg now
I'll get a roof rack and lighting to even her out around 10

With the bigger tires did you get the speedo calibrated? PCM tune?

no, not yet I have not... its on the list of to dos this month... but not yet, I know that will help with shift points but once the speedo is recalibrated the mpgs will probably be the same if not less lol...

Sounds like some pretty good numbers. I haven't gotten more than 17.5 mpg out of mine. I'm not complaining because I do have a lead foot.
