Bob, I had an H2. Got it in 2003 and had it about 4 years. Loved the truck. Best combination of off road/on road in a 4x4 anywhere. I would probably still have it except I don't have room for anymore cars. ( I will find room for an H4 when they hit the market ) If the wife ever gets tired of the H3 I'll probably get another 2.

kdec even THCI, that old bastion of H1 snobbery, has embraced the H2 and H1 as Hummer equals. I have owned every model and never considered any of them less than a Hummer. They have some different capabilities but they were built for different reasons. ( Ford F series for example 150, 250, 350... _ They are all Ford F series trucks but are built for different purposes. I have spent a lot of time off road in my old H2 and my H1s. Differences, yes but they are all Hummers. I am running the Mojave Trail for two days this coming weekend and Borrega Anza in April. I am going to run them in the H3 Alpha. MT is going to be all 3s and I am sure there will be a good mix at Borrega but I bet no one bags on me for " only driving a 3".
