I get my fair share of abuse to, if I go in the Mobil station for gas, everytime someone comes up to ask for some FREE gas from me, becuase they cannot afford theres........Becuase, I own a Hummer.........

I get the Bird a few times a week, but the best ones are the ones, that come from the 3rd lane and pull in front of you and slam on the brakes hoping you Slam into them..so they can collect at Leased $10,000 dollars Liabilty Insurance if you hit them herein South Florida..........

They Know that if you Own a HUMMERs here, you have Insurance to the Hilt as we do........and there driving a Sh_t Box car........looking for some extra Cash......

I was pulled over by our Local police dept for usingOur Companys 140 RMDLDriving lights,on the Brush bar by themselves.............they said the Headlights must be with-in 8 Inchs of the outside body....Mine are 14 inchs.........No Tickett.........

Was told me to run my headlights with them at all times.........He had to go look at the D.O.T. book, to make sure he was correct..............(I Just Laughed)

Other than that, it great to drive here, No snow,Ice,Mud. (plenty of Mud though, if your Looking for it)........only Bad thing is, the only Hills I get to drive on are at the Hummer Outings (Yearly) and the Boat Ramp.......

Hi 8500lbs....

I installed a WHEELEN Power Horn and PA, totaly Legal........Federal Signal 100 watt Electric Horn is 165 DECBs (Very Loud)
the same mounted by the EMS/fire and Police Horns...Horn fit Perfectly behind the Hummer grill...Scares the Crap out of them when they pull in front of me, and cut me off....

The PA is Loud also.........Great when the Light Turns green and there to Busy on there Cell Phone....Windows up and A/C is on......to see the light, and the PA says.........at 165 DECBs.......THE LIGHTS GREEN......They really get Moving..........

Ihad bought the Air Horn for the H2 but it kept breaking and i got tired of buying $230.00 air pumps...this is WAY BETTER

I'm close to Calgary Alberta the old cow town, I have never yet had any problems, Everyone always clears a path when they see you signal, And I always get a wave or thumbs up, In the H2 or H1 I have been driving them for 4.5 years now.

Sorry I lied the car wash guy was really pissed at me the other day when I washed my H1 and left about 4' of cow $hit and mud on the floor.

 

As my GrandPappy used to always say "Bobby, you can Bullsh!t with the best of them!"

Oh yeah, I had air horns (4 of them), on board air compressor & a 5 gallon air tank on my HUGE F350 4x4 Powerstroke Diesel. I could scare the hell out of anyone with those horns so I was very careful when and where I used them. I’d like to install them on my H3 but I’m not sure there’s enough room.

As far as road rage against my H3, I’ve not had any yet. I used to get it all the time when I owned my Corvette. Just plain jealously. No one usually messed with me when I was in my giant F350 because I could just run them over.

But I’ve found it’s best to just ignore the A-hole anyway before it escalates into something bigger. Besides I always carry a handgun and I try to avoid all unnecessary confrontations. There’s some really crazy people out there.

 

Here in Montreal I've never had any problems to speak of, it's been two years now that I have my Hummer, I guess maybe with all the mods I've doneto my 3 gets memore respect, till this dayevery couple of days coming in to work I find myself behind a school bus full of kids, when the first kid see's me, it's so hilarious to see, within a few seconds you have the whole back end of the bus full of kidsshoving each other to get a look at my Hummer and wave at me.

So for me personally nothing bad to say on how people react.

I think the kids are saying wow look at the baby hummer!!!!! i sorry but no matter what one does to an h3 it will never be an h2 as well as what anyone ever does to an h2 it will never be an h1!!!
I have drivin a few h3 trucks and they are small and kind of like a ford explorer. My wife thinks they are tiny. Smaller than an expedition by ford. much smaller than a f-350. kind of cute. Like a mini hummer at half the cost of an h2 and the h2 is half the cost of h1. Entry level i think they call it.

 

First off bud.....I wasn't making any reference to any other Hummers, second I've been places stock H2 can't go....and third with the attitude you have coming on a forum where a good percentage of membersare H3 guys it's no wonder people try to run you off the road!!!
