Do you have a remote starter/alarm in your H3? If so, what did you pay for it? Where did you have it put in? Does it work well/range any good?

On my 2006 H3, I had a Pursuit Pro 9056. It was a single function unit. It had a separate fob and would start and stop the truck. Installed price $400.00. I am likely getting the same thing for my 2008. That way I keep my factory security andkeyless entryintact. A lot are using the Viper 5701 which uses its own security and keyless entry. I was quoted $600.00 installed. There are other threads on this forum addressing remote starts. I think most any will work as long as you have the correct module. Most of the problems reported were because of incorrect installation. I had mine installed by a shop that does hundreds a year. I'm not saying the average Joe can't install it himself, that was just my preference.
