You would think that as tuff as our h3t are you would get a remote that would live up to the image. My remote has such a small thin area to attach my key or key ring to. If you try to attach a key it will break and if you try a small ring and try and turn a the key while in dead bolt it breaks off. It is now broken and I can not attach it to anythink. You can not even repair it to work. But i still love my h3t aplha

Any ideas?

 

id sand off whats left of the busted end.
then sand part of the back,get creative with a piece of,???, plastic,fiberglass,carved to look decent,maybe even attractive, mix up some good epoxy,,,and as they say in england,"bobs your uncle"!!

You can get replacement plastic covers. Look around.

 

Never really thought about it. Guess I should be thankful that the stealership put a small ring through the remote and then attached that small ring to a larger keyring, with their logo on it.

I think I have seen them on e-bay for just the replacement outers.....I think it was about $7 if I remember correctly.

 

Here ya go! I have the camo for our H3T but only paid $10 for it. You might also try your local Autozone or Murray's Auto parts.
