I have a 2007 Hummer H3 that has a noisey Rear passenger side door. Has a clicking noise when opening or shutting. Kinda sounds like power lock type of clicking. any ideas what it might be? It is driving me nuts. Comes from around hinge area, but inside door.

 

plastic cover on bumper by license plate. bang it back down.

 

the same thing happened to me HAPPYTHREE, but hes not talking about that door. hes refering to the side door rear passenger.

Sounds like, click click...click click on the way open and the same when shutting. I can't figure it out without pulling panel and I really don't want to do that...Just annoying. I notice the rear passenger side door has a (child safety???) screw on end of door that either turns right or left. I tried both ways and no difference. I would guess if it was a short or electrical a fuse would fail sooner or later.
