A question about adding lights to your brushguard
I've got an itch to add some KC or similar lighting to my brushguard up front. My question is for those who have done it, what's the best way to wire it and where did you end up with the switch? I'd love to use one of the empty holes in my console but don't know how practical it is to do so. I'm guessing most light kits have a plain jane rocker switch?
Any info would be appreciated.

i am planning on doing the same thing, and i was going to use one of the 2 spots under the radio, and just go get a smaller rocker switch, they make one that will fit right there,as far as wiring, just run you power and ground
I ran a couple K C's and put the switch in one of the console holes. Nice clean install. No dont have a pic of the console..

I found some switches at AutoZone that will look right at home in those two holes
at the bottom of the center stack. Haven't verified fit yet, but they should work.
I'll bring 'em with me next week so you can check them out......
I had toyed with the idea of mounting some switches on the front of the console/storage area
just under the lid release....Pleanty of room for everything and not super obvious.

Hey guys,
Update.... I got my offroad driving lights installed. In the earlier post I asked about the best way to install them, I didn't like the idea of running wire through the firewall, it was pretty tight in there and seemed like a lot of aggravation to do so.
So, I'm thinking about it and decided to tie the driving lights into my fog lights and use one switch for both fog and off road lights. I put a relay in for driving the lights directly off the positive battery lead, on the switch side of the relay I tied into the purple wire on the fog light itself, grounded everything and it wworks like a charm.
Now when I turn on my foglights my driving lights come on as well, nice and tidy and because I used a relay, I'm not worried about pulling current through the fog light wiring.
