2006 h3 adventure. bought her in the late summer of 2010. first thing i did was tint the front windows to match the rear. then bought a set of 22's. Ended up not liking them for multiple reasons. yes the design was great but it ended up looking like a wannabe rapper, and the tread design was not good for offroad adventures. i tried to get some tires with beafier tread but tires for a 22 inch rim with offroad tread is super expensive. the bfg's that were on there were over $400 each. So i traded those rims for some guns and bought a set of DICK CEPEK 33'S only paid $900 shipped!.
Then i decided to black out the grill and side steps ( i used truck bed liner, it gives it a nice texture), then I took some plastic dip to the airdams on the hood. A few weeks back i had a new tuned PCM installed. prior to that i did a air resonater delete and opened the air inlet from the fenderwell to a larger diameter tube to match the rest of the intake. also i ran a snorkel tube up the fenderwell to the airdam. also have a shorty header that will be here later in the week.
I replaced all the speakers with some from MTX.
Suspension work is a set of Rancho rs9000xl adjustable front and rear. Just cranked the T-bars last night....it sits at 23.75 in the front now.
I have a prerunner grill guard from N-FAB on order and should see that soon. once that arrives i'll fab up a winch mount for it and install my winch.
Future mods will be: install the air compressor i have under the hood, install the reverse camera i bought, remove tire jack from rear door and fab up an AR-15 mount to go in its place. Install some more exterior lighting. Upgrade the exhaust.

 

definatly much better without the 22s, the only thing those should be on is an escalade or Denali.

 

agreed! dont know what i was thinking...i could have got a nice set of 35's and some other rims with that money. oh well

 

well, finally added the winch on and a shorty header. what an improvment in performance!

 

I like that header! Gotta get me one now.

 

you'll feel a nice power differance! more low end torque/hp. nice throaty sound, now i just have to get a new exhaust
