Please need your help
Hi guys,
I need your help. I have noise comming under the car and allover the car - only when the temperature is under 60F. It sounds like driving old car. If the temp is higher than 60F the noise disappears. I took the car to the service, but they didn't hear anything because it was warmer than 60F outside. They lubed everything but the noise is still there. It does it especially when going over bumps or when turning. Any advice? Does anybody have similar issue?
Thanks for help
Bo

yes I did some off roading. It doesn't squeak, it sounds like there is someting loose, but only when it's cold weather, and allover the car. What about silent block? It's made from rubber, so it can react to the temperature.
Thanks a lot.

Any issues with the steering wheel becoming off centered constantly? Or alignment going out over and over?
There is a whole thread on the steering shaft issue. I thought I heard it during the winter, it sounded like something was loose and the dealership just greased stuff up and it went away. They said that if it continued to bring it in and they would look and change out the shaft. It is a known issue and it could be that.
Something like that was happening with ours...
It sounded like an old shopping cart going down the road. Any little bump or turn.
Took it to the dealers and they told me that I had a packet of wheel lug nuts in the trunk and they took them out and the noise dissapeared....I thought "yea right" !
I didn't even get off their parking lot when i heard it again.
Well, on the forum here I read about the body mount thing.
Undo each body mount in turn and squirt silicone lubricant around it and tighten back up.
Whole thing took about 15 to 30 minutes and haven't had a noise since.
Also,I will add, I didn't actually feel it sounded like body mounts but I thought I'd try it anyway. It proved me wrong......

I talked to the dealer yesterday and it was a pain in the a....I had my off road tires on it (toyo M/T 315/75/16) and when we went for a ride with the service guy to hear the noise, he started to complaine about those tires that they are the problem and if I will put back on my original tires, the sound will disappear. So I told him that the same problem is with my original tires and he said that if I will not put those tires back he will not work on the car. He also said that this is the off road car and sooner or later I will hear noises coming all over the car. I told him that's too bad if car for $40.000 with 30.000miles on it will sound like old car for $3000. So anyway he let me change the tires and recomended me that I should better clean the car underneath otherways if he will find the dust sitting somewhere I will be responsible for the bills. So I changed the tires and washed the car underneath and today morning I went back. The same noises allover the car. I tried to tell him if he can check the steering shaft and he said it's not this case. Than I said if he can check the bushings and he said that they are fine and that they are not going to change them... So he will work on the car tommorow so we will see. By the way when I was sitting with the representative in the office he started to tell me that I'm the only one in bay area with this issue and that maybe it's our fault that we are too sensitive to the noises (he wasn't with us when we went for test drive) so I don't know. In my opinion they are trying to extend the fixing time because my warranty is going to expire in 10 days.
So now I just must hope that thay will fixit til my waranty will expire.
Ps: I was there last week with the same isue thay lube everithing but it didnt fix anything.
I will keep you inform how it continus
