I drive an 07 H3 myself and am wondering about the VIN number, If it is the last six digits then would mine

VIN: 159140 <-- Last 6 digits, be effected by this?

Though I do think the transfer case control module has a seal leak or something. If I go to a car wash that has underbody spraying I get a "Serv 4x4" on the DIC for about an hour or two afterward.

Interesting choice GM made with plastic shift forks for a 4x4 vehicle. Hope that mine is metal! Any way to check this externally/visually? or is it inside of the t-case?
