Picked this up tonight. Any suggestions on what to start on first?
So I am wondering what I should check out, or add first? Any suggestions?
I noticed that it was quite warm on the 40 minute drive home. 3/4 of the way up on the thermostat for the last half. I am going to check it out in the morning. I was driving on the highway in light evening traffic.. 60-75 the whole way with out any stop and go...

if it feels good and looks good as well as runs good... i wouldnt do much. but lots of threads on here for mods to check out and you choose depending on what you use it for. there are even tons of threads you will find about things to check, like sunroof drains and steering rack and bushings and that stuff. not too bad of a truck though. i love mine even though i hate its thirsty days. enjoy.
looks good, I can't decide yet if I like the painted grill and breather pieces or not. mine is the same color and I can't decide on painting the grill.
Looks like 33" tires?
Any idea what brand the roof cross bars are? they don't look to be stock, and they may rattle as n FYI.
About the only thing I could see myself doing to it would be a brush guard and a shorter antennae and maybe some rock rails if you have the budget.
Let's see some more pics of it, back, inside, etc

If that three was wheeled (I personally do not call driving through mud puddles for the sake of going through a puddle wheeling) then you need to consider a good long low pressure rinse of the radiator cleaning what you can front and back with a soft brush and mild soap.
I was reading the thread about this. It might be good to do, especially since I live in Oregon!

The tires are indeed 33"
The roof bars are Thule.. I want to get a full rack though!
I have been thinking of getting the bull bar, or putting PIAA's up top. Does anyone know if PIAA's will fit in the fog light spot?
The inside is pretty clean, I will get some photos up soon!
First, you are free to search it out, there are a plethora of threads all about the idiot light with a needle (Temp. Gauge), but the 3/4 mark is not hot/warm, basically normal. Only way to dispute that is to get a scanner and look at the actual temp.

After driving it for the last few weeks, I have come to realize that it is always going to hover right below 75% of the way up.. I have not really had any issues so far. I will keep an eye on it!
