Default PCM question

Hypertech said the adjustable modual fits 07 and newer because the 06 ecm dosnt have the options built in for shift points, my 06 has a Manual transmission and the shift point are not an issue, Will it work to trim the fuel curve/timing, PCM for less was lean with my headers and cat forward and cat back system, the jet chip is fairly close however a tad lean under excelleration. I recall seeing a device that wired into the MAF sensor fooling the system and could turn a dial to richen the fuel curve?

heres what I found, My Jet chip already adjust most all the parameters however just a tad lean with all my mods, I have ordered an adjustable modual that alters the O2 sensor reading and can dial in a tad more fuel on the fly, It says its works along with other chips, will see how this works , not expensive at all to try,

byeatts - what did you order that alters the O2 sensor readings? Can you post a link? Thanks.

the adjustable modual ties into the MAF air sensor wires and fools the PCM . by changing the output signal it can tell the PCM that the air temp is colder than the actual temp, Thus adding a tad more fuel/richer mixture. I installed under the dash and can be adjusted while driving. I will look for the link.Yes you can do this with a resistor however it is fixed and not adjustable on the fly.
