Hey Garrett. I used the exact same paint to repaint my nerf bars. I gave them two coats each and two coats of their clearcoat that they sell. They came out really nice, and really hold up on the road

Did you use any clearcoat on the wheels?

I used Rustoleum Hammerhead on mine and the paint has held up pretty good, If they get rock rash just re spray the rim.

No, I didn't use any clear.

I was attempting to match the wheels to my brushguard as best as possible, and figured a clear would make them too glossy.
