Default Output Power Moudules...do they work?

I was looking around on ebay and found this.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04...27021508QQrdZ1

Its called an "Xtreme Output Power Module" that is suppose to increase the horsepower to +22 HP. Has anyone installed this or now if they really do work?

Dave

Sorry to disappoint you..but these things are just a resistor that interfers with the Intake Air Sensoe (IAT) signal to the PCM and makes it think the intake air is colder tahn it is and advances the spark and increases fuel..Makes for **** poor performance though..Kinda like a choke action of the old carberated engines, when the engine was cold on start up...Save your money and invest in a cold air intake system.

I just put in a K&N...I just wanted to know if these work or not. The K&N seems to add more HP, but they do change the sound.

They do sound out a little more..But I kinda like the howl, don't you?

Next you'll need a good cat back exhaust system then..then you'll really notice a difference...
