Oil warning light on my h3
It has a dealing washer, so it's likely not NPT, so it has to be either SAE or metric. Could simply be a thread pitch that is unusual for that diameter.
For example, I have a tabletop grille that I wanted to modify the regulator input. It was metric, 12mm. But none of my metric taps were correct? Turned out that while a normal 12mm bolt uses a 1.50 pitch, this instead used a finer 1.25 pitch.

Auto Zone won't have anything in a non standard pitch, nor will any big box stores like Home Depot. A well stocked small mom-n-pop hardware store is your best bet. I found my parts at a Do-it-Best hardware store (used to be Ace). They not only had nuts & bolts in that non standard metric pitch, they even had the tap that I needed for my project.
Let me revise this thread. My oil light and chime started going off a few times. So I checked the other threads here so I figured ok I'll change a few sensors
and do away with the annoying chime. I replaced my Cam solenoid, I thought it would relieve my misery. It did for a week. The oil light came back on like most
here in the forums only when coming to a stop after a drive. So I decided to replace my oil pressure sensor as well. So after a few days I thought I was on easy street.
Suddenly today the light came back on with the chime.. My oil level is perfect I change my oil every 5K miles. My engine runs quiet and my operating temp is fine too. No knocks or lifter clicks. My H3 is an 07 3.7 liter 129K miles. My throttle body and MAF sensor are clean. I maintain my truck perfectly. I was about to install a set of Stingers and replace the oem battery clamps. I'm open to you good members advice on What my next step should be. PLEASE!!! I'm afraid I will end up at the dealer. THANKS

Everybody that has an H3 should replace the OEM Battery Terminal connectors as the first mod.
In this particular instance, I do not suspect it is triggering a oil warning, but those POS OEM connectors have caused all kinds of electrical Gremlins.
No mention by you of what oil or filter you are using? When was it last changed in relation to the start of this problem?

Yes Sir I'm Running Royal purple with a Bosch distance plus filter. I change my oil every 5K miles. I take really good care of my truck, I also run Motul ATF
in my transmission every yearly change. I'm about to flush out my power steering fluid.
