oil pressure gauge pegged?
I have done searches and the consensus is the oil pressure sending unit or gauge cluster problem when you turn the key the gauge pegs before you start it should I assume its the gauge or go with the sending unit also I have no other dash lights or information center warnings for it and it stays pegged and doesnt move. Thanks for any help.
If that's the only gauge that is acting funny it may be the stepper motor for that gauge. As mentioned you could either start with the oil pressure sending unit or the gauge.
If you've messed with your gauges then you know the disassembly procedure and yadda yadda. I've had mine apart a number of times.
Which route you take it totally up to you. I believe if you have a multimeter you can test the sending unit without removing it.
