I did a search, but found conflicting info contained in various threads.

What is the size and backspacing of the chrome wheels that came on the Alpha?

Also, if the wheel sizes varied based on model, it might be good to list those as well.

Looking at some aftermarket wheels that are 16" x 8" with 4-1/2" backspacing. If it is the same as what I have, I'm not sure I want to spend the money.

But if it would give a little wider stance with my 305-70 tires would consider buying, but not sure if that differs from OEM.

All OEM H3/H3T factory wheels are 16"x7.5" unless you have an H3X 18"x7.5".

 

And all of the 16"x7.5" OEM wheels have 5-1/2" backspace.
If your new wheels have 4-1/2" backspace, you will get a wider stance.
