Default Noise from drivers door?

I have this noise coming from the drivers door towards the vent. It sounds like a rubbing noise , almost like styrofoam rubbing against each other. That squeeking type noise. I have hadthe truck only 2 weeks , it started over a week ago. Anybody have the same problem. thanks.

Don't know if it's the same thing, but I had a similar problem and it ended up being the emergency brake cable rubbing on the frame right below the driver's door. Dealer installed some pipe insulation type sleeve on it and it never did it again.

This is it... If you look directly under the drivers side door between the body and the frame there is the brake cable wraped in a poly tube material
that makes noise after it rubs throught the paint. Not worth going to the dealer when you can do it your self as i found out. I took mine to the dealer 2 times for the same prob and the second time they said "they repositioned the cable it's all set" Still making noise so i climbed under myself and noticed how they "repositioned" it with a zip tie all i had to do was pull the tie harded and pull the cable up higher so it did not move. All good now!

Hello, do you still have the pictures? I want to see your solution to this problem. I thinked that the noise was inside the door, I have opened the door panel and checked everything but the noise was still there.

I want to verify if the noise is derived from the brake cable rubering.

Thank you a lot!!!

Come on man, I know this is your first post but you have to check out the date of the post you are quoting!! Might want to start a new thread and intro yourself and ask your question to a group of people who are ACTUALLY POSTING ON THIS FORUM and will respond!

Well just look under your drivers door you will see the cable. The plastic in the cabin tends to rub and squeek a bit too.
