If I didn't live 1500 miles away I would come and help you, and get a first hand look at what it takes to do it.

MixMan, think SgtChris is leaving you hints in the last photo of post #35, sitting on right fender.

Maybe ive been thinking about this the wrong way. Ive been looking for a wrecked donor or something that is beat with lower miles. The duramaxs here arent cheap and hold their value. But if you buy a dmax in nice shape and swap the h2 parts to the donor and sell it after. That is a great way to recoup a good chunk of the build cost. I like the way you think!

So does the h2 now have the 2wd function from the dmax? And how does that work when you swap the h2 parts into the donor truck, is it now awd?

Yeah the hummer gets the 2wd function from the Duramax . And the Silverado needs a transfer case that bolts to the old hummer drivetrain.

28 hours in. Wiring is done under fuse block, 4x4 wiring is done, batteries hooked up. Waiting on
transcooler and making custom lines tomorrow. Still gotta put duramax
pedal in and add Freon. Gotta have a/c on test drive. Then hood and cut hood.
