I am new to HF and I am considering the purchase of an H1. I have never ridden in an H1 and was wondering if you know anyone who would be willing to take me for a ride.


I live in Big Rapids, MI which is approximately 1 hour north of Grand Rapids.

Do a lot of research before you buy a truck. Have a hummer mechanic do a pre-purchace inspection. The closest qualified hummer mechanic that i know of to michigan is travis at rubber duck 4x4 in ohio for service. You might have to travel to get the right truck. Contact my brother Eric at Big Dog Offroad in denver co. They have a lot of customers with trucks for sale. I know of a real, real nice 98 wagon loaded for sale near austin ( not listed on the market yet) . The guy just put a lot of work ( long list) in it and then got in a airplane crash so now he cant even get in the truck.

 

Most H1 owners would be happy to accommodate you. Unfortunately I am in Texas or I would do it for you.

 

That 98 Ian mentioned is easily a $55-60k 1998 Hummer. The customer spared no expense on anything for good quality parts, service, and accessories. He owns a company who manufactures THE best product in their market (I'm not going to say who he is or his company for anonymity reasons but they are a household name in some circles).
