Default 93 H1 with 502 engine and turbo 400 trans

Hi all
Thinking of dipping my toe into H1 ownership. I have found an acceptable deal for a 93 with low miles, rust free with recent paint and the following work done: New brakes front and rear, New axles front and rear, New geared hub seals and bearings and shocks have also been replaced. I know its going to be very thirsty but thats not an issue as I will at max put around 5000 miles on per year. My question is, have all the potential problems been addressed or are there any other specific areas of the vehicle I should look at?

Any work that may need to be done on these beasts can become problematic and very expensive. Be sure to have it inspected by a qualified hummer technician or at the very least any diesel mechanic.

There is a very long list of things that you should have a qualified hummer mechanic look at. Where is the truck located? Whats the price? The bigest thing i would be conserned about is how bad the wiring harness was hacked apart to install the 502 engine. Also if the truck has a aftermarket electronics i would look how they are wired up. A 1993 should have come with a 6.5na diesel engine not a gasser. Thats a big red flag!

Thanks, engine was professionally installed along with the wiring. Truck looks immaculate, was a Florida truck and I got the price down to mid 30s

Those are really poor quality pics. You cant see much. Looks like the fan shroud has a chunk missing. And there is no foam sealing the cooling stack- does it run hot / overheat?

It's amazing when you watch people try to sell something for 5 figures and can't take decent pictures of the car/truck.
