Default lites on,lites off

ill take advice on taking lite pics. i cut camera sensitivity to get these and its no dark now.
i was back abt 30 ft,then cropped.
they are brighter than i expected

btw the fogs dont blink,and its a real great difference

WOW! They really do look bright. What lamps are in them? They look like little halogen lamps that you would find in a track light or low voltage landscape lights.

i had them in a big box "planning"for months thru the winter,now cant find orig!!
there walmart,abt $20 /2 in box,2 in diameter.
i have one left but prob cant tell what.
check wal website,might tell

got it out,looks like typ halogen 12v spot?,ill get bulb pix in a min

That's exactly what they are! Little 50 watt Bi-pin halogen lamps. You can't beat them for the price! How far do they project roughly?

!,,,dont have a sw mounted yet,just used a clip lead to lite them.
ill get some pix from inside the truk when i get the sw mounted

asap

wow,quik check,pointed at trees,hdlt a little briter and lit only up to a line,say 12 feet. hdlt out new lites on lit up all the way to treetops.
not enuf lite for pix without messing with camerabut are very impressive.

i know nothing about light laws so i gotta be careful,,learn abt.

Gee tom....brand new and they already look like they're rusting from the inside out!.....must be all that salt air got to em come'n across the Pacific!
