Default New Hummer Buyer, wanting to know pros and cons of H2's and H3's

Howdy from Texas!
As the title states, I'm taking a step into the Hummer market. I'm in need of a newer vehicle than my 92 truck, and a few years ago my mother owned a big ole 2008 H2, dual exhaust, fully loaded, 6in lift. I was too young and inexperienced to appreciate it at the time, but it was awesome, an I've decided I want to buy one for myself.
So, I want to know y'alls opinions as to which are better in which areas, what their pro's and con's are, and what the major problems are for both the H2 and H3 models.
Also, glad to be getting back into the Hummer group and really excited to hear from y'all!

This is just my opinion, my perspective. Disadvantages of the H2 over the H3:

MPG - May as well start with the most common, often exaggerated, downside. I get 11ish overall.

Size - parking can be a hassle and too many parking garages the H2 is just too tall for.

Cost - Picking up a nice '08/'09 H2 is going to be expensive. '07 or older is more reasonable.

Advantages of the H2 - Big, comfy, rides nice, more creature comforts, commanding view.

My suggestion - test drive them both and decide which you like best.

Depends what you want to do with it, Daily driver to and from work, go with the H3
Offroad, snow, towing, weekend drives go with the H2

I have had both and both are great vehicles.

If I'm going for an H3, I'd love to get an Alpha for the extra power and torque, though aside from that I am not aware of the differences between the Alpha series and the others. What would the major differences for those be? And what little tidbits could I add on to the 5-Cylinder to get more power and a little more torque?

I figure if nothing else, I can go for the H3 now, and get an H2 later

What do you plan on using the vehicle for?
