go with the 07 because it has more hp (than the 06) and a 100k warranty
as far as offroading my wife wont let me take the H3 (its hers )[sm=boosign.gif] she said thats what the Z71 is for
but from what the guys on here say its the best

Welcome, and good luck with your decision. As some have mentioned, take comments here with a grain of salt as it is a Hummer forum, so there is a bias. Make sure you check out toyota forums for the FJ as well. Both are great vehicles, my buddy just got anf FJ, and he loves it, and I'm impressed with it too. Look at what you want from a vehicle, and see which one best suits those needs, don't just go with whichever one looks best on paper, and drive them both first. IMO, the H3 has the edge.

yeah, ihere ya. um, well, i have checked the fj forums and they too are bias. um....well my father has a new tacoma, same motor/drivetrain. so no need for a test drive. when the dealer asked if i wanted a test it, i said only off road...." aint gonna happen" was his only reply. so... ive never owned a ... is this a AM hmmer or a gm product who really puts these out? is it all chevy with a hummer name or what? but i havent test drove the hummer yet. i dont want to waste there time knowing im going to buy that day. so.... my main thing is for the money, i get more in h3 then the fj, i get a $2500 factory rebate, my local dealer is throwing in an extra $750 cash back, 100k warranty, better mpg then the fj and more power. but... as a great wise man said, "horsepower sells cars, torque wins races" i already know that the yota is a pretty fast and powerful motor, i hope the hs has the " get up and go" as the 4.0l in the toy.

Most true hummer dealers have an obsticle course they will drive you over. their insurance wil not let you drive but you can still see how awsome these vehicle are from the passenger seat also take it out on the street for a test drive and beat on it a little bit...then deside.
