hey yall just checking to see if it was odd for me to only get 28k out of oem brakes. not sure if I need absolutely need them but there's a definitely a good bit of squeaking. I drive pretty stop and go but 28k seems pretty odd. went to get a brake appointment, and mechanic said he had to order some "heavy duty pads" for it. Seems like a lot of BS.. Any thoughts?

 

Changed my fronts about 43k and still some life left. Duty is mostly city.

Rears still going at 48k.

 

Buy hawk lts pads. Last a long time. You are not a left foot braker are you?

 

no I'm not a left foot braker but i definitely put them to good use.

 

Changed my fronts at 45K. The rears are still good. Used OEM FYI.
