Congratulations HardcoreDiesel on your new Champion Edition. I am extremely biased, so I think you have chosen the ultimate H3 model. I drove a whopping 26 miles roundtrip to get mine, no trailoring. I would have had to fly so I could enjoy the 600 mile drive home road-trip in my new Awesome ride.

 

Too bad you live 1200 mi. from the dealership.....I bought my '08 Alpha from 'Friendly Hummer', and those guys have been UNBELIEVABLE when it comes to customer service!!

My local Hummer dealership is really good to me as well and I didn't even buy my H3 from them, so maybe he'll get lucky and have a dealership that's close.

 

Don't forget tires! I also did PCM tune, and leveled up the front end.

 

You should consider an oil change soon, my champ was built in September '08, so the oil was already over a year old when I picked it up with 87 miles on the odometer. I broke in the motor in and changed oil to synthetic at 2500 miles. I bought some oil at Walmart and while I had the H3 in for some warranty work on the door panel, they changed my oil for $15 labor and $10 filter. What was awesome is that the tech did not read the directions very well and they put their own mobil 1 in and I got to keep my oil for the next oil change. Since it was their mistake the manager did not charge me for the oil.

 

There are very few new Championship Editions available.
When I purchased mine a couple months ago. I bought it new sight unseen from a dealership in Indiana and had it transported to Charlotte NC.
When I was in the market I could find only 3 for sale in the US.

I like the very silver color it mathes my Viper.

Well, so far I have got the "Mudder" HUMMER floor mats from GM and got my cab clearance light kit on order. I will probably tackle the leveling over the weekend and then get the front end alignment done.
