Neutral light is on after start but...

Default Neutral light is on after start but...
its not in neutral. This has been happening more and more lately but not all the time. When I start the truck it says the xfer case is in neutral but its still in 4Hi cause I give it gas and it moves. I hit the 4Hi button and the light changes back to 4Hi...anybody heard of this?

I have the same problem. Its probably the transfer case module
