Hi guys im new to hummers. I just bought my 2006 h3 a couple weeks ago and I am looking to do some upgrading. The truck is awesome and I love it but could use a little more power. Mines a 3.5 I5. Heres what im looking for
More power\acceleration
Little lift or leveling setup
Any suggestions?

 

If you have the coin, there is Mash Motors in Kansas that will install a 6.2? Liter V8 under the hood. Or, you could do a catalytic converter delete for another 10HP across the board. Or maybe just an AirDoc intake and PCM tune. If you want to keep the power you have now, better stay with the 32" stock wheels- big tires will rob power that you can't regear to gain back. You will have no problems going up to 35" tires without a lift.

If you want it raised up just a little, crawl under the truck and turn the torsion bar bolts until you measure 23.5" from the center of the wheel to the lower edge of the fender and then get an alignment to straighten back out the front geometry. You can also get 3" longer than stock shackles for the back to lift the rear another 1.5" higher or help out sagging springs.

 

Pcm tune from pcm for less. Simply amazing the difference.
