Default Need New Tires

Im running a toyo open country m/t 33x12.5r20 on my 07 h3 at the present time and its time to get some new ones. Im going to go to a 35x12.5r20 no to give me some more sidewall. I want something that is trail ready as well as something that is not going to ate up by the pavement. My toyos only lasted a little over 20,000. Your suggestions asap would be appreciated as I live in a more rural area so all my tires I order through the shops need to be shipped. Thanks for the input.

you can get an all terrain tire, should last longer, but the aggressive mud terrains may look better with that large of a wheel

general's grabber comes in that size, looks just like the bfg ko a/t

So needing something with trail readiness and wanting longer tread life is the issue everyone is faced with... I know the Toyo M/Ts are great for wheelin but not on the tread life... Ive heard really good things about the Mickey Thompson MTZs and BFG KM2s as far as tread life goes, and finally the new Nitto Trail Grapplers were supposedly designed to be the best of both worlds... all are available in the size your looking for btw...

I have the Nittos on my Jeep...great tire. With 20 inch rims you need a fairly large tire for off road..... What suspension mods have you done to put 35s under there?

I think Im gonna go with the Nitto Trail Grappler. The only thing ive done to the suspension in my h3 is crank up the t bars and put on some fox shocks. Ive still got to put the new bump stops on. Thanks for the input.

Don't know how you only got 20k out of them. Rotation is the key with these tires though, On average I rotate them once a month.
My last set got 45k, Got the same exact tire again. My only complaint is that I should have thought more and got 35's this time.

I rotate them ever oil change is about every other month for me or shorter. My father ran toyo open country m/t on his titan and got about 40k. Im not downing the tire by any means but they dont seem to do well on the set up I have. So i would like a harder compound and hopefully these trail grapplers will do it for me.

Did my shopping on the Nitto Trail Grapplers, the best deal I was able to get was $320 a tire, which I think is decent. If anyone knows a better deal than that online please post.

I had the same concerns, but I purchased Dynapros. I'm only at less than 2k and the only wear seems to be the usual two front tires' outer rim due to turns and such. I will be rotating including the 5th wheel every oil change.

I got the dynapros because i didn't want to purchase a 20K or less tire. Time will tell...
