I just replaced my OE rotors for drilled and slotted ones, looks great and perform awesome. Also I used premier ceramic pads. Took it for its first ride and breaks a lot better and smooth. The only concern I have is the noise the holes in the rotors create when u use the brakes, I wonder if its normal or if it will go away after a while.

Did you use the Powerstop kit from Rock Auto? I am thinking about ordering that set up this week along with Timkin bearings and half shafts for both sides. That sound will always be there, but it shouldn't be that loud, on a dual sport motorcycle with drilled rotors you always hear that sort of hissing sound when on the front binders.

Does anyone know if the Alpha and the regular H3's use the same brake pads?
