Ok, We plug the iPod into the adapter and power is on.
Shouldn't the Screen on the audio sys offer an auxiliary input option?
I have scrolled through the "Band" functions and it goes to FM1, FM2, AM, XM1, and XM2. I figured the iPod would show up there somewhere. The other buttons other than Band are NAV, NAV/RPT, Cd,

That is the only thing I dislike about buying a used vehicle from a 3rd party. The person who made changes or is more familiar with the car is unavailable to ask questions to.

The carfax report indicated that the radio unit has been replaced twice. There is no name brand on the face plate of the audio system. I may just wind up buying something else if I can't figure out this thing.

Hi, I attached a pic of my radio and iPod when connected. iPod becomes active when I select either XM1 or XM2 button. Once connected iPod screen shows "GM". Hope you see it in the tiny iPod screen. In the pic I select XM1 and you see iPod letter buttons right side of the screen. And music flows in. I have several different iPod but operation is same.

Mine is USAS**c adapter but operation might be different in others. BTW, mine is 04 H2 and no XM radio connected.

Thanks for the picture, it was, as they say, worth a thousand words. I scrolled through the complete menu and saw XM screen come on, but never fully read the screen. I saw, XM and moved on. Will take another run at it in the morning.

Again, thanks!

I checked it out. Apparently a different audio system. Our H2 has XM. The XM screen that comes up has no iPod options on it. Thanks for the suggestion though.
