hello to all

I recently joined this forum after I bought my 2007 H3
the windshield seems as if it was hit by a sand storm with fine dust particles embedded in the glass ! the view is not cristal clear despite my efforts to wipe it clean ( I have even tried to lighly polish it with some rubbing liquid to no avail ! )
I wonder if any one has this problem and can advise on how to tackle it before I take it to the dealer and have the whole windshield changed .

don't know what caused it but if you have to pay it will be a ton more at a dealer.
I had one done. the glass shop truck came to my driveway, did the job in an hour for ? about $200.
