he called to rush me in this morn and i reviewed the "numbers"the agreed price went up 500 and trade in down1300 so i put the brakes on,AGAIN, and i was ready to roll

btw citi bank helped push me over with some zero % money at 3% fee for 14months,,cheap $.

im paying ofc my bal with that regardless of whatever,,,

the sedatives are wearing off and the adrenaline rush is beginning to subside so i can touch the keys again!!

actually i posted this morn but it got lost "in the mail" and i couldnt repeat

so it took half of fri to get it done,almost walked out,AGAIN,like in july but both sides got tired of the $ battle and we settled,

and i drove home with my old license plate,,,the rest was new! 11 miles on speedo .
what a feeling. 39 years ago i bought my last new car,, 71 pinto!!

with a list price the same as my first house, i had to do some juggling of $s but basic is this

list minus 3000 dealer,,minus 5000 rebate,,minus 16000 trade,,minus some cash got me a decent mo. payment

the 5000 rebate ends 9-30,,,they say!!??

so someone is pushing.
btw Schepel cadillac in merrillville in. has a lot full, i think they are buying all they can get from other dealers who want out. i didnt count but its more than the 17 on the net.

so i got the loaded adventure pack, same red as my 07 so the neighbors will never guess "what a big shot" (im not!)

it is a delight,hard to describe,,but the "roof window" is what i really wanted! course its fun to mess with front/rear lockers, hard to steer in the grass! lots more new stuff for me,,camera,bluetooth,onstar,satellite,and nice new 285's, no i wont be cranking tbars or loosing the steps!! mof i lowered them 4 inch already,,,ohh puke he said!!

hey im 68 and this will be the last so its a blvd baby and may out live me! still have monsoon,but no leather, i kinda miss the wheel feel. mileage, ill check in a month or so.
