I have a 2003 h2 with the folding mirrors that will not fold .
checked the past posts on this problem ,so i pulled the drivers side off and the motor was trashed , gears broken ,
my question is when changing out both sides at the same time .
do i have to stick with the 03 mirrors or will any year mount up and have the same plug ins .. i heard that the 06 and up are better designed ..

You can use the newer style mirrors. Dealers would replace the old style with the new while under warranty.

 

thanks, that's what i needed to know. now i just have to find a matching pair

 

they aint cheap..
