Default 40k miles-trouble ahead?

just wondering- I see there are (seems) allot of members who are having trouble with their h3 after 50 k miles- My h3x 07 has been great, but I'm starting to get a little worried that maybe I should trade it before I get too many more miles on it- am I reading into this too much- or only hearing from those who have had issues?

Well my opinion is that you might be reading into too much. Alot of people come here to diagnose a problem they are having. I feel that there is only a small portion of threads that have to deal with offroading or doing upgrades. If your not having any issues then keep on wheelin. It's nerve racking because I have the 06 H3 that supposdly has a known head issue, but I havent had any issues yet. I bought the gmpp extended waranty to ease myself. Maybe it's something yo should look into.

Most people that have issues, wheel them. And most of those issues aren't bad issues. They are petty and easily fixed. I feel that my HUMMER is one of the most solid and mind-easing vehicles I've owned. I know for a fact that I can hop in, turn the key, and drive anywhere without a single hiccup. And I like that feeling.

I bought mine used at 123K miles.

I'm not worried. I could take that H3X off your hands for a good price if you bring it to Colorado....

Cheers, Doug

Most people only post when they have an issue to try and fix. 56k and nothing other than a dead battery at 13k, and the head issue at 20 something but that was a design flaw. I wheel it no problems and wouldn't hesitate to hop in and go anywhere.

I have 48K on mine and no issues. Keep up the normal maintenance and you will probably not have any issues.

Lucky me! My 2008 H3 is now 62,000 kms but never had any issue except asking for gas.

I'm at almost 60K, and no real problems other than a bit of restriction in the windshield washer flow. Prolly just need to ream out the nozzles with a stiff wire.

Oh yeah, and the time I pulled the left rear door handle off trying to open the door after mud in the wheel well froze and kept the door from opening. Memo to self, remove frozen mud first THEN attempt to open door.

Don't panic just because of the mileage.
