I have jacked the threads on the nut the goes on the lower ball joint. Does any one know where I can get another one. I have tried every parts store. I will go by the dealership in the am but was wondering if there were any other place. Also went to Lowes and Home Depot. Thanks

 

Try chasing the treads with tap/die.

Yea thought about that to but couldn't find anyone with a big enough one. Do you know the specs on the bolt?

 

I think the nut is 18mm. It's GM part #15994586. It's part no 18 in this diagram: SUSPENSION/FRONT. Fits: H3, H3 SUV, H3T | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick

 

Just fyi tip. I had a fun time getting this bolt off until my old filament light bulb went off at the back of my head and decided to heat up that nut with my MAPP gas torch. It came off and back on without putting up a fight.
